I've gone into BOTH other computers, and verified the LAST 5 DIGITS of the Product Key, so I KNOW which one is the one that goes on THIS laptop. The idiotic robot made me READ all 60+ numbers, THEN told me it was invalid and hung up. BTW: that reply 're 7-digit/6-digit with the link goes to a dead page. on my screen was NINE groups of 7-digit numbers and NINE boxes that would hold 6-digits. SO, I TRIED to do it using the PHONE process. It failed, and I don't recall the error, but I believe it was something to the 'invalid key'. Which I did - told it to 'Activate over the Internet'. It churned, then said 'I'm installed' and told me to Activate Office. exe file - the exact same one I used 2 years ago, and ran it. Pulled out her SSD, put in a blank one, installed. Had to install a new copy of Windows Pro on wife's laptop. And they've all three been working fine EVER SINCE. They're small, about 5 MB or so, and just seem to download and install Office. exe files that have the 25-character Product ID/key right in the filename.

I have a Product ID (the 25 character thing) for Office 2019 Pro. I've tried this in the msoffice forum and it just sits there.
